North Korea ups stakes with latest missile launch
North Korea is once again in the news for firing medium
range ballistic missiles and upsetting South Korea. They failed to issue and warnings ahead of
the launches that took place and in recent weeks the missiles almost hit a
Chinese passenger jet. The United from
made up of the Unites States, Japan, and South have met with each other to
discuss this issue and feel that what North Korea is doing is a clear violation
of the United Nation’s resolution and they want an immediate stop to this. Although this North Korea has not spoken on
this matter yet, the Ministry of Defense in Seoul believes the launches was a
vindictive reaction to the ongoing Unite States ROK military drills and an
overall subtle message to the international community at large. North Korea on the other hand is trying to
put the blame on South Korea, who didn’t do anything, and saying that they are
assuming things and this is ultimately hurting their reputation.
